Dear all
This wed Kenny Easwaren will be giving us a talk on "Infinitesimals
and Probability"
Kenny promises to give us a user-friendly guide to infinitesimals, so
all those interested in the discussion about Leibniz last week should
come along! After the user-friendly guide, he'll argue that
infinitesimals are mostly useless for probability, contra some recent
thinkers.
At 2PM he'll give a positively user-sycophantic talk about the
background to all this; as usual all interested parties welcome, grad
students and honours students expected!
