Philo Agora's talk tomorrow, Tuesday, April 7th. , will be Mary Hendriks The Social Values of the New Global Era

Mary will review the thoughts of contemporary thinker Thomas L Friedmann, author of the book Hot, Flat and Crowded. From this, Mary discusses the social values emerging from our changing lifestyles - what's in and what's out. Her talk considers the global face of social change and poses questions that relate to our cultural moral values.

Mary now works to develop entrepreneurs in the new energy businesses. Her many interests include kayaking & contemporary thinking about values and society.

Tuesday April 7th. at the Fair Trade Coffee House, 33 Glebe Point Road, Glebe, $6.00 includes a free cup of coffee or tea. Start at 7.30. Finish at 9.00pm. If you want a meal, come early. All profits from the Fair Trade Cafe go to support Third World development.
