Leading US environmental journalist and best-selling author, Bill McKibben, has set up a worldwide campaign, 350.org, to educate and advocate for this number to be set as a target at the Copenhagen United Nations Climate Change Conference in December 2009. In his exclusive lecture for Sydney Ideas, he will talk about how climate science and climate politics are quickly evolving, as well as his role as an activist in the US.
