This booklet is distributed by the Way to Happiness Foundation, and is
claimed to be a landmark in putting forward a "common sense" set of moral
principles that represent a guide for making good choices. Critical reviews
of this booklet on the internet focus on the origins of the principles or
try to link alleged immoral conduct on the part of either the book's author
or the group Scientology which the author founded. In contrast, I plan to
review the book on its own terms, looking at the different moral principles,
comparing them to other perspectives and looking at the consequences of, and
evidence for, the different perspectives.
