OPEN FORUM
6.15pm (for a 6.30pm start), Wednesday 28 July 2010
Greetings all, and apologies for the two month hiatus. We'll be resuming on
Wednesday nights -- every second and fourth Wednesday of the month -- at the
same location.
Next meeting will be an open forum. Come prepared with an issue you'd like to
talk about, or come completely unprepared.
Usual format goes:
-- Starting just after 6.30pm
-- Continuing till 8pm-8.30pm
-- Normally, short speech, then two or three rounds of discussion, with breaks
in-between
-- Often we'll go to dinner afterwards
-- You're welcome to come or to leave at any point during the evening.
No cost. No reading required beforehand. All welcome!
Location: members bar, floor 1 (keep winding up to the top of the stairs), The
Gaelic Club, 64 Devonshire Street, Surry Hills, Sydney (100 metres from a
Central railway station exit). We'll be armed with the Oxford Companion to
Philosophy and a bell. Usually we meet ***out on the terrace***. Usually a
small group -- half a dozen people sitting in a circle.
