In this talk I will argue that anyone who does not accept anthropogenic
global warming is irrational unless: (1) they are a climatologist, or (2)
they have good reason for thinking there is a conspiracy among
climatologists to promote anthropogenic global warming irrespective of
evidence. A key part of my argument will involve an examination of arguments
from authority and their role in rational belief formation.
