The NSW Stem Cell Network’s 14th Workshop, *Ethics and Regulations for the
Use of Stem Cells* will take place on Nov 29th at the University of Sydney.

For researchers who deal with any sorts of applications involving stem
cells, this workshop will be a perfect opportunity to update your knowledge
of others’ research, learn how different labs have dealt with ethical issues
and the administration of those issues, how the regulatory bodies interact
with private industry, and what the public expectations are regarding stem
cell therapies.

Proceedings will be opened by Adam Spencer (Breakfast Presenter on ABC’s 702
Radio, a Sleek Geek, and sits on NSW Health Department's Clinical Ethics
Review Committee). Presentations will be made by Dr Megan Munsie (Australian
Stem Cell Centre); Dr Killian Kelly (Mesoblast); Prof. Loane Skene
(Australian Health Ethics Committee); Dr Julia Schaft (Sydney IVF Stem
Cells); Dr Harry Rothenfluh (Therapeutic Goods Administration), and others
to be announced.

Registration for the day is $150 ($50 students).
