Solidarity: The Journal for Catholic Social Thought & Secular Ethics http://researchonline.nd.edu.au/solidarity Call for Papers: Issue 2, November 2011 Solidarity: The Journal of Catholic Social Thought and Secular Ethics is a refereed academic online journal published semi-annually to provide a forum for the discussion of social ethics, social justice and Catholic social thought. Our inaugural issue is freely available on our website. The journal promotes ethical reflection and stimulates dialogue on a range of topics and issues of practical and international import as well as of theological and secular significance. While Solidarity has a broadly Catholic interest, it is also a journal for secular ethics. As such, the journal aims to promote inter-traditional, multidisciplinary dialogue. Solidarity aims both to examine and give voice to an intellectual approach to ethics and social philosophy within secular and religious traditions alike. As an ethics journal, Solidarity welcomes works from various academic fields, including: philosophy, moral theology, applied ethics, sociology, anthropology and any work considering ethical implications within a specific field. Deadline for Submission: August 30th, 2011 Peer-review process and notification of decision: September 30th (at latest) Publication date: November 1st Submissions can be made online, and submission guidelines are available from the web.
