To objectify a person is to treat that person as an object. Treating a
person this way is often thought to be ethically problematic. But what does
it mean to treat a person as an object? And is it always wrong to treat a
person in this way? In this talk I attempt to answer these questions.
Special attention will be given to the sexual domain where the
objectification of women is thought to be especially problematic.
All welcome.
