The next meeting of the Workgroup on Recognition in Sydney is on Saturday this
week, February 15, 11am-2pm at the Duck Inn Pub (74 Rose St, Chippendale).
We will continue on the theme of 'social pathology', 'pathology', and 'life',
discussing this time Georges Canguilhem's book The Normal and the Pathological
(Zone Books 1991), section two ('New Reflections').
Anyone interested in theories of recognition, or in critical social philosophy
in general (both students and staff) are warmly welcome. If you know anyone
else who might be interested, feel free to pass on the information.
