RESEARCH ASSOCIATE (X2)
(Level A or B, Part-Time 1x 0.3FTE & 1x 0.5FTE)

Salary: $67,105 - $93,958 per annum (pro rata)
(Plus 12% Superannuation and 17.5% Leave Loading)

The Institute for Ethics & Society is seeking to appoint two part-time Research 
Associate positions. The successful candidate will have the ability to teach 
and to contribute to high quality research in the areas of Applied and 
Professional Ethics and/or Ethics Education. This position is located at the 
Broadway site of the Sydney Campus and reports to the Director, Institute for 
Ethics & Society, Sydney.

This position will be responsible for providing research assistance on current 
Institute research projects and for developing the successful applicant's own 
research publications in related areas. The position is also responsible for 
contributing to the Institute's work in supporting the teaching of Ethics 
across the University (including guest lecturing, team-teaching, training 
workshops and curriculum consultancy) and for assisting with the organisation 
of Institute activities.

The successful applicant will have completed (or nearly completed) a PhD or 
MPhil in Philosophy or a discipline related to Applied and Professional Ethics 
and/or Ethics Education and have experience teaching Ethics in tertiary 
contexts.
