In the 10th, and last, of our series of talks on Western
Civilisation, speaker Stephen Buckle will examine widely-held
conceptions of what gave rise to Western civilization. He will
challenge the common interpretations of both the Judaeo-Christian
tradition and the rise of science in the Enlightenment.

Blackheath Neighbourhood Centre, cnr Gardiner Crescent & the Great
Western Highway, (entrance from park side of Hall) 4pm-6pm, followed
by informal discussion at a nearby pub.Admission $10 includes a big
