What about an IRC channel? #symfony is often too chatty and lots of people joining/departing making it less than ideal for those of us who are busy living on the edge. I know that some people feel like IRC results in valuable discussions being lost for the masses, but again there aren't that many people anyway and for me its hard to really figure out best practices via a mailinglist.
