Well I don't think that using form component makes sense in case of API requests. And that to me is a perfect case for separation of the two. That was the reason I created http://github.com/avalanche123/Transform, which is not an advanced data binder. Also just a thought - the form component could generate forms automatically from the databinder's metadata.
