I see this has been briefly discussed here http://groups.google.com/group/symfony-devs/browse_thread/thread/cc5bcf67d0b858f5/ac296dc824cfa9ed?lnk=gst&q=symfony2+submodule#ac296dc824cfa9ed and here http://groups.google.com/group/symfony-devs/browse_thread/thread/37eb881a111682cf/b14158b18866b10a?lnk=gst&q=symfony2+submodule#b14158b18866b10a
Basically my question is this: What do you see as the optimal directory setup for a new Symfony2 project? I've been fooling around with a few ideas. Right now the best I've done is replicate the sandbox, except /vendor -- which I have instead added appropriate Git submodules. Except for vendor/zend -- because it's such a small dependency. Seems a waste to bring in the entire framework just for that.
