I'm not sure this is worthwhile; it obfuscates the real dependencies,
and prevents optimizations.

What I suggested yesterday was to add a generic pass for converting
certain tags to DIC parameters, but anything beyond that should
require a compiler pass tailored to your specific use case imo.
