+ 1 for camelCase consistently everywhere.
Why not on the CLI? People need to read the help anyway if they are not 
familiar with the commands. 
Where the format allows (perhaps CLI) I would ignore the case. Everybody 
already had the problem how the name things. Like should it be "subword", 
"subWord", "sub_word" or "sub-word"? When using camelCase and not making the 
parameters case sensitive on the CLI it would remove one possible cause of 
frustration.
