The IRC meetings are important but we should probably schedule them only
when there is a need for them. Talking about PRs during meetings has
little value as this is already what we use Github for.
IRC should be used for things that cannot happen on the mailing-list or
on Github: like planning 2.1 or discussing something that we cannot
agree on with just a technical discussion on Github.
Also, I've been travelling a lot lately and that means that I was not
available for IRC meetings in the last couple of months. But, that comes
to an end and I will have more time for them.

Francesco,
To be honest, I think this is a sign that IRC meetings are not required
any more. I think with all the flurry of activity to get 2.0 out the
door there was a need, but clearly, stakeholders are not feeling or
seeing the need. There is plenty collaboration in the PRs and tickets
at Github... so much so, even the developer list is not active. We
should focus on what is in demand imo.

Drak

I reckon I sent my invite a tad late last week. This week there
should be plenty of time to collect important PR's and prepare a
Doodle for voting before Thursdays.
Should you think IRC meetings aren't needed any more, please reply
at this email and let us the list your reasons.
I'd rather stop wasting your time and mine sending these reminders
if they are of not help for the good of the project.
Thanks,
Francesco

it's been a while since my last attempt to fix an IRC meeting.
Do you think it's the time to go back to the good old habit? If
so, tomorrow could be a good time!
I need your help to collect the most interesting PR's to be
voted, belower are the top ones, but your suggestions will have
priority.
Which ones do you think should go into 2.1? What is really
missing to ship it?
