Hi,
  I don't believe that any BC break that could possibly exist can be 
included in 2.1: most probably a few versions in the future will still have 
some, so I believe it's a bit too optimistic to hope for the next one to be 
the only one black sheep.
For this reason, I'm +1 for a 2.1 out as early as possible.
