Try to use numeric pseudo culture code.

1) in generator.yml:

title_i18n1
title_i18n2

2) in your class:
...
$cultures = array( 1=> 'fr_FR', 2=> 'en' );
...
  list( $method, $index ) = $data;
  $this->setCulture( $this->cultures[$index] );
....
