most probably... u didnt get it right in propel.ini....

remember the format is ::                     mysql://username:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
/database_name

this means. if u have got password..mention it after your user name...


btw..this was my problem..( i didnt notice the docs about propel.ini :( )
