Last month I had similar problem on my EclipsePDT (SuSE 11).
I suggest you to remove all projects from eclipse and delete all
.cache
.settings
.project
file & folders from each projects' root folder.
Now you can create new projects.
I hope it helps.
By the way, I use VI and EclipsePDT on Linux, DW and EclipsePDT on Windows.
