I'm basing that on a post from Fabian from awhile back, that upgrading an application that was deployed using the sandbox and not as a standard Symfony app. was something that may or may not work, as sandbox wasn't meant to be deployed as a live app.
But, I'll give your suggestion a try, Dean _____ From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Jonathan Wage Sent: Thursday, October 30, 2008 2:31 PM To: [email protected] Subject: [symfony-users] Re: PHP upgrade has killed our Symfony apps How would it be difficult to upgrade? All you need to do is change the symfony libaries to use a different version. Depending on your code you may need to make small changes for the different version of symfony. - Jon On Thu, Oct 30, 2008 at 1:23 PM, Dean Farrell <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hello all, Our ISP recently upgraded from PHP 5.2.0 to PHP 5.2.6, over which we had no control. We have a number of Symfony apps written by a previous employee in pre 1.0 sandbox versions that haven't worked since the upgrade. Upgrading our Symfony version would be the best option, but given that they were written in the sandbox version and not as a regular Symfony app. this would be very difficult. Does anyone know of any PHP changes that would have killed our apps., or any suggestions? Thanks, Dean -- Jonathan H.
