Ok I found it.. I don't know what was going on, when I uploaded the folder, but the /apps/backend/modules/news/lib folder was not uploaded?!! That's strange, but uploading that dir fixed the problem of course... thanks!

What I did:

I developed under windows+XAMPP, everything works fine.. uploaded the files to the server and all backend-modules work fine except the news-module. When I try to access http://v2.purveyor.de/backend_dev.php/news there is not shown a login-screen, but the error about that abstract-class-instantiation.

Where should NewsGeneratorConfiguration should be? Isn't it auto-generated?

It looks to me, that NewsGeneratorConfiguration class doesn't exist or
it can't be found, then it's trying to instantiate it's parent class
(BaseNewsGeneratorConfiguration) or something like that.

When this error appeared? What did you done before that?

yep this seems to be the reason.. but what do I have to check in detail?
I couldn't figure out :-/

The other modules like backend_dev.php/members works fine!

abstract class BaseNewsGeneratorConfiguration in
/cache/backend/dev/modules/autoNews/lib seems to be ok for me?!

Check the filename. If you have developed on windows, then it might be
a filename problem

what's wrong? on my localhost it works fine..
