this is app.yml in /config not app.yml in /apps/xxx
why does it redirects to backend? i had similar problem, but i think setting
that app.yml fixed it.

  sf_guard_plugin:
    success_signin_url: @homepage # the plugin use the referer as default
    success_signout_url: @homepage         # the plugin use the referer as
default
