"Can't see" means the images are not showed.

I have Ubuntu and then I installed VirtualBox with:

Windows XP: the images from 'uploads' directory are showed but, for example, the images of the debug toolbar no...
Ubuntu: the same as in Windows XP.

This is the virtual host configuration:
