if it's not the sql generated by symfony, there is no obvious way of insert such files. I usually do this kind of thing with the mysql command line program : mysql -umyuser -pmypassword mydatabase < myfile.sql
If you want to be able to do this with symfony, you could create a new task that runs a similar command.
