I'm still having no luck. I created a brand new admin backend module
php symfony doctrine:generate-admin backend User --module=userAdmin3
modified the 'generator.yml' file
...
config:
actions: ~
fields: ~
list:
display: [first_name, last_name]
filter: ~
...
then went to the new module and I can see the first name field and last name
field, but both are not sortable :(
