I have following models.

        * Reservation
        * Property
        * PropertyTax

Each reservation 'hasOne' Property.
Each property 'hasMany' propertytaxes.

I get list of taxes this way.

In reservation class, $this->Property->PropertyTaxes;

Till now everything is fine and works properly.

I want to filter collection '$this->Property->PropertyTaxes' based on some
criteria.

Criteria like tax is active or not, tax has period during which applied, so
whether tax period is effective or not, etc.

How can I do it at model level?

Thanks in advance for your help.
