I've been awaiting such documentation for the Symfony 2 DIC to appear

has a lot of features that I'd love to start playing with in my code.

if not, is there a roadmap for them?

the service container doc is described in the master doc on
http://docs.symfony-reloaded.org/master/ but the doc about the DI
component is not complete yet. This was not in the PR6 doc as it was not
written at this time.
