Hi, There is a patch on github waiting to be merged in the symfony master that resolves the problem (https://github.com/symfony/symfony/pull/694). Currently there is a pattern option you can pass to your DateType (date_pattern in DateTimeType) but it is not taken into consideration. If you include the patch in your code base, it will work as expected and you could do:
