Yes, but the problem is that  M[b] which here is y**2  doesn't have  
the "is_positive"
data descriptor.
I'm still confused whether a symbol is assumed to be real by default or  
not. If it is
assumed to be real by default, we can check if the parity of the exponent  
is even.
But then, if its odd then we'll either have to assume y**n is positive and  
give the
solution in terms of hyperbolic functions, or ask the user for more data -  
like maxima.
