Comment #7 on issue 1678 by oscar.bristol: Incorrect latex formatting of powers of square roots. http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=1678
Hi Jorn, I've attached a new patch. The output with these changes is: >>> from sympy import * >>> x = Symbol('x') >>> latex(x**Rational(1,2)) '$\\sqrt{x}$' >>> latex(x**Rational(1,3)) '$\\sqrt[3]{x}$' >>> latex(x**Rational(3,2)) '$x^{\\frac{3}{2}}$' >>> latex(x**Rational(1,2),itex=True) '$\\sqrt{x}$' >>> latex(x**Rational(1,3),itex=True) '$\\root{3}{x}$' >>> latex(x**Rational(3,2),itex=True) '$x^{\\frac{3}{2}}$' I think this is correct. Thanks, Oscar. Attachments: rational_powers_latex.patch 1.2 KB -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
