Just to note that pull request https://github.com/sympy/sympy/pull/182 supercedes 166 and it has been pulled into master.
Since this issue is remaining open and I have been reading through the geometry source code, I will expand the docstrings in the other files.
I am still looking at the intersection code and some of the new functions in utils.py in your geometry branches. I will comment there if I spot anything.
