i still have the problem even after testing the os.environ call on sympy-0.6.7. I also tested the example script by xiao. Any more information? I've tested this on both a generic installation of sympy 0.6.7 32bit as well as enthought python 64bit. Both turn up the same error. Windows 7 64bit and 32bit here and just the Window initialization failed error
