Not sure how I feel about this. I like having the authors in order in the
README. And the statistics are very unfair, because of things like mpmath
update commits (not to mention the usual stuff about using lines of code as
a metric). There are similar commands in git to the hg ones above if you
really care.
We do order the authors in the release notes alphabetically (for exactly
the reason that we don't care about statistics).
I am marking this as WontFix. If someone disagrees, please reopen.
