Well, as I've mentioned on IRC, at least openSUSE 11.4 (and 11.3, the previous release) use 3.1 as the default Python, I'm sure other distributions do as well (eg. I just checked Ubuntu, 10.04 LTS and 10.10 have it as well). So, if possible, I will try to support at least 3.1. If I do have some big problems, though, I will drop it. Or rather, I will aim for 3.2 but if after that we can support 3.1 with minimal or no effort, then so be it.
