Also, Luke was wondering if it would be possible to use MathJax (see http://dlpeterson.com/blog/?p=162).
That would be cool, because it renders in the browser (i.e., faster doc compilation), and you can select the parts of the equation (meaning it's arbitrarily resizable, and searchable).
