My last concern was to add some raises() tests, which it seems has been
done, so I am +1 if the tests pass.
Brian's convinced me that diff(f(x), g(x)) is OK (see comment 8 above).
And by the way Ronan, the derivative linear functional is *not* continuous
(this is why, for example, in the theory of differential equations, we
always convert an ODE or PDE to an integral equation before working with
it, because integral linear functionals are continuous). I don't know if
this affects your argument, but I wanted to point it out.
