Mateusz, have you ever looked at the possibility of running IPython in
SymPy Live? The plain terminal console is pure Python, so it should work.
We won't be able to use the kernel architecture because it requires zeromq.
Also, in this talk from SciPy
(http://www.archive.org/details/Wednesday-203-10-GoogleAppEngineForPython),
he briefly mentions at the end that you can use IPython to get an
interactive session into the development server (maybe that's different),
using kay (start at around 19:00).
Anyway, I'm wondering if some of these problems we're having with
serialization have not already been solved, and anyway it would make some
issues like issue 2589 trivial to fix.
