Try

terms_gcd(sin(x)**3+cos(x)**2*sin(x),expand=False)
(sin(x)**2 + cos(x)**2)*sin(x)

but if you aren't expanding then collection of some sort is needed:

terms_gcd(sin(x)**3+cos(x)**2*sin(x)+1)
sin(x)**3 + sin(x)*cos(x)**2 + 1
eq=(sin(x)**3+cos(x)**2*sin(x)+1)
i,d=eq.as_independent(x)
terms_gcd(d)+i
(sin(x)**2 + cos(x)**2)*sin(x) + 1
