I'll leave the milestone on this one, but if no one gets around to it, then it can be postponed.
The reason is that this is kind of important regarding the deprecation cycles that we are having, because no one will ever actually see the deprecation warnings unless we do this. Note that this requires issue 2513 to be fixed.
