In that PR, I don't understand why you changed latex to LaTeX. It just
shows that the LaTeX method from sympy.galgebra.latex_ex doesn't work as a
drop-in replacement for latex from sympy.printing.latex.
In [1]: from sympy.abc import tau
In [2]: from sympy.galgebra.latex_ex import LaTeX
In [3]: latex(tau)
Out[3]: '\\tau'
In [4]: LaTeX(tau)
Out[4]: '$tau$'
But why would you want to use LaTeX? In fact we should deprecate the LaTeX
method in favor of latex from sympy.printing.latex---There should be only
one obvious way to get latex printing.
