New issue 3782 by paanini....@gmail.com: Error in dividing a symbol by a
fraction
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=3782
When you have expressions of the form x/(a/b) where a and b are integers,
strange behaviour occurs. x/(a/b) should ideally simplify to x*b/a, however:
If a>b, the result is x/b:
In [46]: n/(5/2)
Out[46]: n/2
Else If b > a, the result is oo*x:
In [47]: n/(1/2)
Out[47]: oo*n
If a == b or if either a or b is a floating point, the expression is
correctly evaluated.
In [48]: n/(1/1)
Out[48]: n
In [49]: n/(5.0/2)
Out[49]: 0.4*n
This behaviour is leading to a number of other bugs, especially in the
series module, particularly Issue 1015.
