Thank you for all of your help!! It works great, but I am still finding
instances where the calculation is taking 10+ seconds. An example of this
is when I take a submatrix of the original matrix I was having trouble
with, seen in the attached file. I am not sure if this is also a problem
for you. Calculating the rank of all the submatrices (~950 matrices) of the
original matrix takes > 3hr, in mathematica it takes < 15 min.
I don't know if this is a problem you are concerned with, but thanks for
making the rank calculation overall much faster.
