The roots routine gives RootOf a symbol to use (apparently) and RootOf
reports non-dummies as free symbols
sol[0]
RootOf(x**3 + 4*x + 1, 0)
_.free_symbols
set([x])
sol[0].subs(x,Dummy()).free_symbols
set([])
