New issue 4133 by greg.von...@gmail.com: Suggestion: implement classical orthogonal polynomials
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=4133

The numpy library polynomial contains modules for Legendre, Chebyshev, Jacobi, Laguerre, and Hermite polynomials. In Maple these can be treated symbolically, so that, for example evaluating 2*x*ChebyshevT(n,x) returns ChebyshevT(n+1,x)+ChebyshevT(n-1,x). Similarly it is possible to perform derivatives and integration, evaluate products, etc.

Having this sort of capability in sympy would be a nice extension.
