I'm just changing the name on this since separatevars is doing its own
thing rather than using the expand to control what happens.
h[2] >>> sqrt(x*(1+y)).expand(mul=False, power_base=True)
(x*(1 + y))**(1/2)
h[3] >>> separatevars(_)
x**(1/2)*(1 + y)**(1/2)
It, too, should get a force argument, I suppose.
