Ultimately, your background stuff should go into our official docs, in sphinx, there could be a section about examples. So it will be nicely accessible from docs.sympy.org. You can use wiki here: https://github.com/sympy/sympy/wiki we are moving there from our media wiki. Once we are done, I'll redirect wiki.sympy.org there as well.
