OK, well the first thing that needs to be done is we need to go through all the pull requests and make sure that any that should be merged before a release are merged.
Second, we need to go through all issues with the milestone-release0.7.3 flag and resolve them ( https://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/list?can=2&q=Milestone%3DRelease0.7.3+&colspec=ID+Type+Status+Priority+Milestone+Reporter+Summary+Stars&cells=tiles ). Third, any work that can be done on automating the release process ( https://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=3445) would help *a lot*.
